Bella Italia

Italia – the land of pasta, vino e tiramisu; of sole mio e la dolce vita. And where I spent most of August 2018. Needless to say, wherever you are in Italy, it is beautiful. At least, wherever I have been so far. Castagneto Carducci, Cecina, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Napoli, Sorrento and Pompeji for instance have all already been on my traveller’s log throughout my *adult* life.

This summer, I decided to explore the Amalfi Coast, il Lago di Caldonazzo, and eventually Roma e Frosinone.

Four completely different areas, all beautiful in their own ways. I could never give them justice or claim to completeness but there will be episodes of sights, towns, encounters and such to transport your mind straight to Bel Paese and me back into holiday reminiscence… There will be pasta recipes (home-made alla nonna), hiking experiences (coastal and dolomitic), curiosities and stereotpyes.

Until then: ciao, bella italia, o bella ciao and a nostalgic fotographic sneak peak.

Xx
